Xibalba is a two-player game that is often referred to as the game of the gods. It is a game that is said to have been played by the deities of the ancient Maya. The objective of the game is to capture all of your opponent's pieces, or to outlast them by capturing more pieces than they do.
The board for Xibalba is a square with 16 squares on each side. There are 10 pieces per player, which are represented by small cones. Play begins with both players placing their pieces in the centre of the board, and then players take turns moving their pieces one square at a time in any direction. If a player's piece moves into a square occupied by an opponent's piece, the opponent's piece is captured and removed from the board.
The game can be won in one of two ways: either capture all of your opponent's pieces, or capture more pieces than they do. The first player to achieve one of these objectives wins the game.
